Roman continued to race for FS12 Racing Team in the Moto4 Northern Cup, a series that gives young riders the opportunity to gain experience on circuits across Europe. This season took him to Germany, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands, among other countries.
One of his first standout results came in June at Hungary’s Balaton Park Circuit. Roman finished third in Saturday’s race and went one better on Sunday, taking second place. Two weeks later, he raced in front of his home fans in Brno, where the Moto4 Northern Cup was part of the Czech Grand Prix programme.
His strongest weekend in terms of results came at the turn of July and August in Oschersleben, Germany. Roman finished second in both races. On Sunday, just eight thousandths of a second separated him from victory.
The season concluded on 18–20 September at TT Circuit Assen. Starting Sunday’s race from 14th on the grid, Roman worked his way into the group fighting for the win. He finished the Moto4 Northern Cup season fourth overall with 150 points.
A race weekend lasts only a few days, but behind it lie years of training, the work of an entire team and the determination to keep going when a race does not go to plan. We admire Roman’s perseverance and his drive to keep improving. That is why we support his racing journey.
