Bonett – Partner of the 32nd Edition of Graphic Art of the Year

The ceremonial award presentation and exhibition opening took place on 22 April 2026 in the representative premises of the Carolinum at Charles University in Prague. The evening was marked by an inspiring atmosphere, bringing together prominent figures of the Czech graphic art scene, students, and admirers of contemporary art.

This year’s edition presented a selection of outstanding works by contemporary artists and students. The exhibition in Prague will remain open to the public until 10 May 2026 and will subsequently move to the Gong Gallery in the Dolní Vítkovice area of Ostrava, where it will be on display from 3 to 28 September 2026.

As part of its long-standing support, Bonett Group once again became a partner of the Intaglio Print Award, one of the special awards dedicated to graphic printmaking techniques. The award was presented to Dalibor Smutný for his work “Chronology of Light XI”, created using the mezzotint technique, while the student category award went to Anežka Šrejberová for her work “Polish Fields”.

We see our partnership of this category as a natural way to support contemporary art and to recognize the precision, creativity, and craftsmanship of graphic printmaking. We value projects that provide opportunities for both established artists and emerging talents while encouraging new creative approaches.

Graphic Art of the Year also creates space for intergenerational dialogue and showcases a broad spectrum of both classical and experimental graphic techniques. A total of 534 works were submitted this year, from which the expert jury selected nominations and awards across the main categories.

We would like to thank the organizers for their trust and for the opportunity to once again be part of this important cultural event, which continuously connects the tradition of graphic techniques with contemporary artistic expression and innovative creative approaches.
